ASQ International is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Secondary Economics Teacher to join an established international school in Seoul, South Korea.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Economics specialist who enjoys connecting classroom learning to real-world issues and developing students' analytical and critical-thinking skills.

Overview

The successful candidate will teach Economics across the Secondary age range within a British-style curriculum, with students progressing towards IGCSE and A Level qualifications.

You will deliver engaging lessons that develop strong subject knowledge while encouraging students to analyse information, evaluate economic issues and apply theory to contemporary situations.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Education or a related subject
• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent
• Proven Secondary Economics teaching experience
• Strong subject knowledge
• Experience with a British curriculum is highly desirable
• IGCSE, GCSE and/or A Level experience is highly desirable
• Strong lesson planning, assessment and classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, flexible and adaptable approach
• International teaching experience is highly desirable
