The ideal candidate
- Holds a degree in English or Education with recognised teaching credentials, ideally QTS, PGCE or equivalent
- Experienced in delivering KS3 and KS4 English Language (and Literature where applicable), with a clear understanding of assessment standards
- Must have completed ECT
- Demonstrates creative, student‑centred teaching methods that support diverse learning needs and promote academic excellence
- Thrives in a multicultural environment, fostering respect, inclusion, and global awareness among students
- Contributes positively to the school community, embraces professional development, and values teamwork
