The ideal candidate

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in English, English Literature, or a related field
  • Possesses a PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Trained in or familiar with the UK National Curriculum (KS3–KS5)
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at secondary level, ideally in a British or international school setting
  • Experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level English is highly desirable
  • Prior experience working in single-gender schools or with boys is a bonus
  • Open-minded and culturally aware, with a genuine interest in working in a multicultural environment
  • Passionate about English language and literature, with the ability to inspire students
