We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join an established international school in South Korea.

The successful candidate will teach English across the Secondary age range, helping students develop strong communication, analytical and critical-thinking skills while fostering a genuine appreciation of language and literature.

The school follows a British-style curriculum, with students progressing towards internationally recognised qualifications including IGCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative Secondary team and play an important role in supporting students' academic progress and wider development.

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in English, Education or a related subject
• Hold a recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent
• Have proven experience teaching English at Secondary level
• Ideally have experience teaching students aged 11–18
• Have strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature
• Experience with a British curriculum is highly desirable
• Experience teaching IGCSE, GCSE and/or A Level is highly desirable
• Have strong lesson planning, assessment and classroom management skills
• Be confident differentiating learning for students with a range of abilities
• Be passionate about developing students' communication, analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be collaborative, adaptable and committed to professional development
• International teaching experience is highly desirable

Candidates who already have experience as a Head of Department, Subject Lead or similar are encouraged to apply. However, strong Secondary English teachers who are ready to take their first step into subject leadership are also welcome to apply.
