The ideal candidate

Education and Certification:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Language Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, teaching license, CELTA, DELTA, or equivalent).

 

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching language acquisition (e.g., English, Chinese, French, Spanish, or other world languages) at the secondary school level.
  • Familiarity with the IB curriculum (especially MYP and/or DP) or other international education frameworks is preferred.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of second language acquisition theories and best practices for fostering language proficiency and intercultural awareness.
  • Ability to implement innovative, student-centered teaching strategies, including the integration of technology and differentiated instruction.
