The ideal candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE, or other teaching qualification giving Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Current police check clearance certificate (for visa purposes)
• Proven experience as a teacher with a strong background in maths education.
• Minimum of three years’ teaching experience across the secondary age range
• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
• A clear understanding of the essential qualities necessary for effective teaching and learning.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for England and Wales (desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
