The ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE, or other teaching qualification giving Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Current police check clearance certificate (for visa purposes)
- Proven experience as a teacher with a strong background in maths education.
- Minimum of three years’ teaching experience across the secondary age range
- Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
- A clear understanding of the essential qualities necessary for effective teaching and learning.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for England and Wales (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
