Are you a qualified and enthusiastic Secondary Science (IGCSE Physics) Teacher ready to join our international school in Vietnam this new academic year?  The successful candidate will teach Science across the Secondary level, with a focus on Physics for IGCSE, helping students develop strong scientific knowledge, analytical skills, and practical understanding.

Overview

Deliver engaging Secondary Science lessons and IGCSE Physics in line with the Oxford International Curriculum. Plan and deliver stimulating lessons, experiments, and assessments that develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Support students’ academic progress, curiosity, and wellbeing within a bilingual learning environment. Collaborate with international and local colleagues to continuously enhance curriculum delivery, and prepare students for IGCSE examinations and practical assessments.

The School

The school is a modern, purpose-built international school offering a bilingual education that combines the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training curriculum with the Oxford International Curriculum (OIC). Their programme emphasises literacy, numeracy, citizenship and practical skills, delivered in an international learning environment with focus on inquiry, creativity and lifelong learning. Classes are small (average ~25 students) and students benefit from a vibrant community and opportunities to develop globally relevant skills.

The ideal candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Science (Physics), Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.)
• Specialism in Physics and experience teaching IGCSE Science preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching (IGCSE experience is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of current trends in international education
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
