Overview
The successful candidate will join the Secondary team and be responsible for delivering high-quality Science instruction aligned with the Nova Scotia Public School Program.

The Ideal Candidate
- A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) – required
- A Master’s degree – preferred
- A valid teaching qualification/licence
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
- Science teaching experience at Secondary level
- Experience with the Nova Scotia curriculum – preferred
- Strong curriculum planning, assessment and differentiation skills
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Experience in an international school environment is advantageous
- Experience with PowerSchool SIS / PowerTeacher Pro is advantageous
- A collaborative, flexible and student-focused approach
Important Certification Requirement
Teachers who do not currently hold a Nova Scotia Teacher Certificate will be required to obtain certification within the first year of employment.
Candidates who are successful are strongly advised to begin the certification process as soon as an offer is received.
