The role:

Your responsibilities would include:   

  • Making clear and effective decisions about: planning, implementing and evaluating the curriculum and extra-curriculum

  • Leading and managing teaching and non-teaching staff

  • Organising department resources

  • Overall responsibility for the standard of pupils’ work, outcomes and behaviour in the department

The ideal candidate

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s preferred) and a valid teaching qualification

  • Has proven leadership experience in a secondary international or British-curriculum school

  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level programmes

  • Skilled in team leadership, curriculum development, and school improvement planning

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and support teachers and students alike

  • Flexible, culturally adaptable, and passionate about fostering a positive, student-centred learning environment

  • Ready for an immediate start in Myanmar
