Description

An established international school in Thailand is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Leader / Assistant Principal to oversee Early Years and Primary education from K1 to Year 6, while also undertaking some teaching responsibilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school leader who is passionate about high-quality teaching and learning and enjoys working closely with both staff and students.

Overview

The successful candidate will take a key leadership role across the Early Years and Primary phases, providing strategic and day-to-day leadership while supporting the development of teaching and learning.

Alongside their leadership responsibilities, the successful candidate will teach some classes and contribute directly to the academic and pastoral life of the school.

The school follows a British curriculum, with Early Years based on the EYFS framework and Primary covering Key Stages 1 and 2.

Ideal Candidate

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification
  • Have significant teaching experience within an international or British-curriculum school
  • Have previous leadership or management experience, preferably within Early Years and/or Primary
  • Have strong knowledge of the British curriculum and EYFS
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Be confident leading, supporting and developing teaching staff
  • Have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to balance strategic leadership responsibilities with classroom teaching
  • Be a positive, approachable and inspirational leader
  • Demonstrate a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and holistic development
  • Have the flexibility and adaptability required to work in an international school environment
