An established international school in Bangkok is seeking a dynamic and committed Vice Principal for the Middle/High School to join its leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced school leader who is passionate about academic excellence, student development and creating a positive culture across the secondary phase.

Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal and senior leadership team to provide strategic and day-to-day leadership across the Middle and High School.

This role would suit an experienced Deputy Head, Vice Principal, Head of Secondary, Head of School or experienced Head of Department looking to make a broader leadership impact within an international school environment.

You will play a key role in:

• Leading and supporting teaching and learning across the secondary school
• Monitoring academic progress, standards and student outcomes
• Supporting and developing teaching staff through effective leadership and mentoring
• Promoting high standards of behaviour, attendance and student wellbeing
• Supporting curriculum development and implementation
• Working closely with parents, students and staff
• Contributing to whole-school strategic planning and improvement
• Supporting examination preparation and academic pathways
• Ensuring a positive, inclusive and student-centred school culture
• Deputising for the Principal and taking responsibility for key areas of school leadership as required

The school is an established international school in Bangkok with a diverse student community and a strong focus on providing an internationally recognised education. The curriculum follows a British pathway, progressing through the Key Stages to Cambridge IGCSE and advanced-level qualifications. The Ideal Candidate

• A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree
• Significant secondary teaching experience
• Proven experience in a school leadership or management position
• Experience working within an international or British-curriculum school
• Strong knowledge of secondary teaching, learning and assessment
• Experience with Cambridge IGCSE and/or A Level programmes is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative and supportive leadership style
• A commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing and academic excellence
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop teaching teams
• Strong English-language communication skills
